While taking a break in Europe in September, our company directors managed to squeeze in a visit to one of their customers.
Hugo Mes from Mesfruits in Cavaillon, France took time out during harvest to show Aaron around a young block of trees as seasonal fruit pickers from Poland harvest Granny Smith apples. These seasonal pickers have similar work contracts as our own Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) scheme workers from the Pacific Islands.
