Welcoming Tanya Carney to the Fairfield Orchards Team
At Fairfield Orchards, getting fruit from tree to market is a serious operation – and this season, we’re proud to introduce the person leading that charge.
Tanya Carney joins Fairfield as our new Coolstore Logistics Manager, taking responsibility for ensuring our product reaches its destination markets in perfect order. From accurate labelling and pre-shipment checks through to country-specific export documentation, Tanya’s role is all about precision, compliance, and getting the details right – every single time.
A Facility Built for Export
Fairfield Orchards is both an MPI and Customs approved facility, loading containers direct to market in line with our exporters’ specific requirements. It’s a responsibility we take seriously, and having dedicated, experienced logistics leadership is central to maintaining the high standards our export partners expect.
This season we’re proud to be working alongside some of New Zealand’s leading exporters, including Bostock NZ, Fernridge, T&G Global, BVA Group, RD8, and Mr Apple, as well as logistics partners Westhaul. Together, we’re committed to delivering New Zealand-grown fruit to markets around the world.
The Team Behind the Operation
Of course, no coolstore runs on paperwork alone. Tanya is supported by a hardworking and dedicated team of forklift operators – Conan, Setaliki, Terry, Graeme, Melissa and Faitangane – whose skill and work ethic are at the heart of everything we do on the floor.
We’re excited for the season ahead and confident that with Tanya’s eye for detail and a great team around her, Fairfield is well placed for its biggest post-harvest year yet.
