Mechanic required - Part-time ~20hrs per week
Description:
We are looking for an additional part-time mechanical maintenance person to join our team at 91 Umukuri Road Riwaka. The role is expected to be approximately 20 hours per week. You’ll assist our mechanic to maintain our extensive vehicles fleet that includes tractors, vans, utes, and associated implements including airblast sprayers and other orchard machinery. General mechanical or tool skills to help us maintain property, plant and equipment will be very useful. We are after someone who thrives on a varied workload, who ideally knows orchards and has experience as a mechanic, fitter, welder etc.
You may be asked to work some Saturday mornings and may be available for longer hours during our busy harvest months.
Skills & experience:
- Proven mechanical experience
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Strong safety knowledge
Requirements: You need to have a current, full Driver’s License.
