Harvest Coolstore Forklift Operator

Description: We have a fulltime fixed term forklift operator role available. Starting immediately and running through until June (or possibly longer) you will be assisting the team storing bins of apples in our cool stores. There are pallets of processed fruit into coolstore racking and perhaps export containers to load. This is a precision job at times and ideally you will have experience and confidence with racking systems.

$30- $35 per hour
Full time. Fixed term for the harvest season. It is likely you will be offered more than 40 hours per week during the busiest times.

Hours: Our normal hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm Mon – Fri and some Saturday work will necessary. Some earlier starts and late finishes will be required.

Requirements: You will need to have forklift experience. Experience with racking systems is desirable. A truck license of class 4 or even class 5 license would be a bonus. All applicants will need to have photo ID and proof they are eligible to work in New Zealand.
